Bye for Now

I won't be able to update these news or the web site for a while.

(While this is what I posted on March 22, I did update the news page upon my return on May 23. Therefore, the news roll continues, albeit on a slower rhythm until May 23.)

Denice Duff and Other Babes

Denice Duff - I have a confession to make. I love the pic of Jenna Miscavige Hill at ESK. I find her a stunning beauty (OK, it's the only pic of her I know, and I have never watched (yet) her videos interviews and stuff, am very busy, you know...). But upon reading that Denice Duff completed Scientology's highest level, I discovered her home page and I must admit being hooked too... So now I have an ex- and an in-, is that fair and balanced or what? (Actually I really ought to add a non- in the equation too so check out my favorite video on youtube (sorry Anon it isn't you), and tell me we aren't living in great times :-)

Youtube Poop

YouTube Poop - hilarious editing of the CoS' video about Anonymous.

Anonymous-exposed.org Getting Rickrolled

Someone created a page ("anonymous-exposed.org") hosting the CoS video about anonymous. Someone else created the same page ("anonymousexposed.org") replacing the video with a clip from Rick Astley. This leads people who don't see the difference in name to think Anonymous hacked the CoS site to replace the video with Rick Ashley when in fact it didn't. ("rickrolled" in anonymouse jargon is to be tricked by a forum troll into clicking on a Rick Astley music video. It is also used when anonymouses highjack events using that clip to promote their agenda as in this example.)

Scientology.org Has Gone Video

Scientology.org has now gone all-videos (82 videos!). While the realization is very nice it is also stupid because they don't allow for a non-video option so people have to put up with a slow media (Mar 18: there are now links to traditional websites hidden off screen at the bottom of the page, however they don't point to the old home page. I still don't get why they had to rename the old home page to replace it with this video channel instead of making a separate page for it and make a bit pointer from their home page. I also wonder what effect this will have on their Google ranking. They may lose their Nr 1 spot to Xenu.net!). On slow connection it is impossible to watch, and it doesn't even have a pause button that would allow downloading the whole video first! (Actually if you hit pause it will continue to load the rest of the video but it is not showing it as it should).

Jason Dohring

'Moonlight' Star Thanks Scientology For Success - "Jason Dohring isn't afraid of backlash from the media or the public for his religious views. In fact, if it wasn't for Scientology, the "Moonlight" star claims he wouldn't even be close to seeing the professional success he is seeing now."
