That's awesome that they reconnected. Happens all the time. I know Bruce Wiseman -- he's a very cool guy and was always very proud of Kendra. I have no idea what the upset was about, but I'm glad they are getting back in good graces with each other. I've been in Scientology for 37 years and never disconnected needed to disconnect from anyone.
Including all the data might be a bit more honest of you. Kendra's parents are "reconnected" to try to handle her. To go back to Scientology. Kendra would have been declared by now but because Bruce is who he is, they are giving them a chance to recover her. You lean heavily on the side of Scientology. I have to now read all your postings is though you are a Scientologist...it's that obvious.
It's also a typical double bind in which the person can never win.
If they disconnect, they are evil Scientologists who follow the evil orders of the evil CoS.
If they don't disconnect but on the contrary reconnect, they are only handlers, still doing the evil bidding of the evil CoS.
The same goes during the protests, as in the Karel Jeelof example.
Give them a chance, Truth, and give them the benefit of doubt. Scientologists are not necessarily empty minded and empty hearted robots who do everything an evil CoS tells them to do. Consider the possibility they may be human with human feelings even though they may otherwise be indoctrinated in the CoS belief system.
At least be happy that between two evils (from your point of view: disconnection or handling), they have chosen the lesser one.
I think that Truth has a point. If Kendra Wiseman's parents believe in the CofS, surely they will also believe that she made a mistake by leaving it. In that case they will try to bring her back. And they cannot do that unless they are in contact with her. Sorry to be a bit late.

Ex-Scientology members tries to take a critical but gentle look at both sides of the issue. I think both are right and wrong at the same time, and both have something to teach us.

That's not a "data" that's an opinion.
